OMEN is a night club in Beirut, imagined for the event creator Tarek Salman. The studio draws its interior through a series of preparatory drawings — vaults, hollows and rippling ceilings where light is born from the relief. The walls receive a parametric bas-relief in GENCORK expanded black cork, generated from the best tracks of DJ O.Bee: the music becomes material.
Drawing the club by hand
Pen drawings, then light laid over them: vaults that spring from the floor, oculi in the walls, a ceiling of cavities above the bar. Each sheet tests an atmosphere before any model is built.

Walls carved from the music
Generative files drawn from DJ O.Bee’s best tracks drive a parametric bas-relief, milled in GENCORK expanded black cork: a natural, acoustic material whose waves catch grazing light.

A rain of light above the booth
Above the DJ, a suspended field of luminous filaments falls towards the booth and frames the dance floor.
