A mutant vehicle for Burning Man: a tangle of bars and bicycles carrying light and sound across the playa, lit to look as if it were on fire, without a single flame.
Fire without a flame
More than 1,500 WS2812 LEDs. Programmable arrays along the front, sides and rear simulate flames climbing the bodywork; LEDs frame the outline of the vehicle, and an undercarriage glow lights the ground.

A light show run from a phone
Two 220 V generators feed stabilised 12 V (or 5 V) power supplies; a Pixout server, a Wi-Fi router and P-Link injectors drive the LED bars. On the playa, the show is chosen, run and looped from a mobile app.

Hot Stuff 2024 — a moving dance floor
A proposal for the Hot Stuff camp: a very light parametric structure that folds and unfolds, made of thin carbon or glass fibre tubes joined two by two by rotating knots. As a corolla or a half-donut, in modules of one to four, it follows the art car across the playa and becomes a giant LED pixel matrix driven by the Cuddle Shuttle’s music.
