Audi A4L — a double hologram over water

Beijing, 2008, at the National Indoor Stadium, for Lightsonic: a double holographic system separated by a real pool of water, 56 linear metres of image. Virtual cars leave an imaginary futuristic city, cross the real water and stop in front of the audience, joined by the real Audi A4 as it is revealed. Three weeks of complex production; lighting by LEDBOX, holographic equipment by IVS, images produced in Hong Kong and Beijing, with a holographic performance by the actress Maggie Cheung.
